Toronto restaurants are finally able to open their dining rooms! What a rollercoaster this has been for all of us in the restaurant industry! So many of us didn't survive, and Covid-19 indeed threw a wrench in all of our plans. That being said, it seems the economic reopening of Ontario has been a success so far and a major revitalization for businesses all over the GTA who have been unable to operate like they usually would since COVID-19 first hit the city.
Though this past year has been frustrating as hell, we at Toronto Pho understood it to be wholly necessary, and that's why we continued to comply as we've done throughout the pandemic.
Despite repeated closures forcing us to change the way we do business, Toronto Pho has maintained its commitment to quality food. It has delivered 1,000s of orders across the City of Toronto and Hamilton. In the past year, we've changed the packaging we've used to make it more eco-friendly. Nevertheless, we are still striving to be a completely sustainable Toronto brand. We've also redeveloped our website to allow for online ordering and have streamlined take-out and delivery services.
It's been a hectic time for us and has been challenging for many families.
So we genuinely want to say thank you again for always being patient with us and supporting us!
As you may know, Ontario's reopening was set in three stages referred to as "Steps." Each was essentially a 21-day interval that allowed the province's top doctors to monitor the impact of what's going on before moving into the next stage.
What is Step 3?
We are now in the last stage of Toronto's economic reopening (Step 3).
Step 3 is the first time restaurants across the province have been permitted to allow indoor dining but only if social distancing is practised.
What else can you do in step 3?
- Outdoor social gatherings and organized public events for up to 100 people
- Indoor social gatherings and organized public events for up to 25 people
- Indoor dining with no limits to the number of patrons per table
- Retail with capacity limited to ensure physical distancing
- Indoor religious services, rites or ceremony gatherings with physical distancing
- Indoor sports and recreational fitness facilities with capacity limits
- Personal care services with capacity limited to ensure physical distancing
- Museums, casinos and bingo halls with capacity limits
- Cinemas, concerts, theatres, and other performing arts venues with capacity limits
